HELPING
HANDS DULLSTROOM
ABOUT US

The primary objective of Helping Hands is the alleviation, wherever possible, of the financial and emotional suffering of the many disadvantaged families in and around Dullstroom and it’s neighbouring township, Sakhelwe, with special emphasis on the children.
Helping Hands is a registered Welfare Organisation. It was founded by a group of community-minded Dullstroom ladies several years ago...
Our main objective is the provision of social and economic support for the underprivileged communities of Dullstroom and Sakhelwe. Our principal beneficiary is the Epilepsy Centre in Dullstroom known to everyone as “Sanel”, but a good deal of time is devoted to identifying and addressing the needs of the Sakhelwe community. One of our annual projects involves providing school uniforms to the very poor, and invariably orphaned and destitute, children, many of whom live in appalling conditions.
The constitution of Helping Hands was signed on 10 March 2010.
